Booking Through Thursday – Siblings

3 May

Booking Through Thursday is a weekly meme held over on Booking Through Thursday.

A while ago, I interviewed my readers for a change, and my final question was, “What question have I NOT asked at BTT that you’d love me to ask?” I got some great responses and will be picking out some of the questions from time to time to ask the rest of you. Like now.

Heidi asks:

Do you have siblings? Do they like to read?

I do have a little brother but we are so different. I absolutly love read and he doesnt. I dont think he has picked up a book in about 5 or 6 years which is so upsetting for me, he just doesnt have any interest in reading 😦

Really? That’s so sad! It’s so hard if you have all those amazing reads and no one to share them with… I mean, not that we share that much in my family, but we can at least all sit around on the porch and read. No talking, but still spending time together. I’d miss that! Maybe he’d change his mind if you just handed him the right books?

its so sad 😦 i share my books with my mum but not my brother 😦 TBH i dont think he has read a book in years and he sees reading as boring (how are we related?!) and i dont think he will ever get into it 😦

Siblings are different that way. I guess we just have to accept that.

Yep i suppose we do, its just very strange how two people that are so closely related can be so differernt!

Some of us love reading and others don’t, we are all different that way.

Aww, that’s too bad. My younger brother doesn’t like to read that much unless he finds a book he’s into. But I’m trying to find cool books for him all the time so I can change his mind. 🙂

I’m the only reader in my family, too, although I do have a very young half-brother and half-sister that I’m trying to convert!
