So September has been and gone now and I’m writing this a little late due to my early new arrival! I had a really good reading month in September – probably the best I’ve had for a number of years. I managed to read and listen to 9 books which is pretty good going for me!

19) When the Curtain Falls – Carrie Hope Fletcher. This was ok – good chick lit to fall into.

20) Their Lost Daughters – Joy Ellis – This book has really hooked me into audiobooks. I’m eagerly awaiting the sequel of this that is released this month.

21) This is Going to hurt – Adam Kay – a really good insight into what its like to be a junior doctor in the nhs.

22) Delirium – Lauren Oliver – A really good first in the series trilogy

23) Children of the deterrent – Ian W. Sainsbury – Really good young adult book.

24) Pandemonium – Lauren Oliver – Really good follow-up book to the first in the trilogy.

25) The Visitor – K. L. Slater – I didn’t enjoy this one too much

26) Requiem – Lauren Oliver – I was a bit disappointed with the books ending.

27)Differently Morphous – Yahtzee Croshaw – I didn’t really get this book.

There was a total of 4 normal books and 5 audiobooks.

Currently reading

In book form I’m currently reading Delirium Stories by Lauren Oliver as it was part of the box set I brought. I’m hoping that it will wrap up some of the loose ends to the final book of the trilogy.

In audiobook form I’m currently listening to Halfheroes by Ian W. Sainsbury. This is the next in the series to Children of the deterrent.

Books Brought

I didn’t really keep a track of what I brought this month so I’ll log better next month.

Reading Challenge Updates

I’ve been working this month at getting the 3 different lists updated and ready for me to start to get posts written about the books that I’ve already read. I’ve also got a few drafted ready to go live once my last list is finished!
