About Me


I’m Laura, I’m a 28 year old reading lover from the UK. I have one son who is three and a little girl on the way who is due in October.

In my early twenties I adored reading so much so that I started up this blog. I read loads throughout my early twenties but sadly it tailed off after I became a mum – blame the fact that I had so much going on with life!

I’ve just started to blog again and I’m really looking forward to reconnecting with the book blog community!

    You put on your page about The Screw Tape Letters that you might have to think about a different take on religion. If you don’t mind me asking, what did you come up with? Also, you might want to try reading “Mere Christianity” by Lewis. It’s incredible.

    Hiya! I was wondering, I would really like to take part in some book challenges, as I have a book blog, but I was wondering, how do you find out about them, and whether there are ones going on? Because I don’t really know how to find out about them….any help would be great thanks! 🙂

      Heya, a lot of the short term reading challenges i find out through other blogs, there are literally hundreds!

      The longer lists i found out randomly browsing ‘book lists’ on the net. And through browsing other blogs too 🙂

        Ok cool thanks! I think I will try the Rory Gilmore Challenge, and I checked out the BBC 200 books one and am very proud to say I’ve read 23 of the books on it, (about to be 24) which means I’m above the average public that hasn’t read more than six yay! 🙂
